Marlene's New 5/8" Harness Leather Reins with Latigo Lacing

The five plait braid reduces the amount of stretch while the latigo lacing provides improved grip. Upgrade from your slick, flat leather and nylon reins. We use the highest quality leather and then hand braid and lace them.
"This is my new design and I believe it is one of the best. I prefer leather instead of nylon for numerous reasons, but the main reason is that leather will break if your horse gets in a jam. For instance, if you tie your horse up by the reins and he pulls back, I am sure you would rather break your reins then your expensive headstall or bit, or worse yet, tear up your horses mouth. "
