Hodges Futurity Combo Bit with Sweet Iron Chain Bit.

A stainless steel cheeks with sweet iron chain mouth gives this bit design plenty of flex and bend, but very little control. Many think that the chain mouth is harsh however, we disagree. It is actually very light in that it lays across the tongue and bars of the mouth without any pressures on the roof of the mouth. This is a terrific bit design for the sensitive horse that does not need much and has plenty of natural rate, but is pushing his/her nose out in the turns and possibly losing collection.
