Rope Nose Combination Short Shank

3/8" diameter 3 piece twisted wire with dogbone snaffle Bit. 8" cheeks, 5" mouth. The stainless steel cheeks with sweet iron three piece mouth piece allows good control while maintaining plenty of flex and bend with side-to-side independence. The longer gag motion lightens this design and works very well on many horses. The three piece mouth design lays well across the tongue and bars of the mouth providing comfort and relaxation in horses that are well broke and ready for advanced training. The noseband collects the horse that is pushing its nose out in the turns and possibly losing collection.

"The nose piece on this combo design is important in how the entire bit functions. Beware of those that have nose pieces that are not the proper length as they do not work properly and usually pinch a horse resulting in problems."
