Marlene's Newest 5 Plait Leather Reins with Leather Knots

The five plait braid reduces the amount of stretch while the leather knots improve grip and help in proper hand placement. Feel for the knot and know your hand is in the right place! Upgrade from your slick, flat leather and nylon reins. We use the highest quality leather and then hand braid and leather braid the knots.

"This is my newest design and I believe it is the best. I prefer leather instead of nylon for numerous reasons, but the main reason is that leather will break if your horse gets in a jam. For instance, if you tie your horse up by the reins and he pulls back, I am sure you would rather break your reins then your expensive headstall or bit, or worse yet, tear up your horse¿s mouth. "
"I put a brass snap (sold separately, T017) on one side of my rein so I can always unsnap my reins when I get off of my horse. This is much safer than having a loop rein that my horse could put a leg through and have a wreck."
