Hi-tech constructed of Carbon Fiber for exceptional strength, while decreasing overall saddle weight to approx. 18 pounds. Over five years of research and development went into the design and production of this very high tech, carbon fiber saddle tree. It was pull tested to over 3200 pounds of force, proving it to be extremely strong, and then Marlene personally tested it for over six months before we introduced it. One of the many great aspects to the Carbon fiber, Special Effx2 saddle is that it can be returned to Cactus Saddlery in the future and a new saddle can be built using the existing tree. This saves the saddle owner a considerable amount of money since the saddle tree is already theirs!
